Not all who worship the Light are good.

There happens to be a group in northern lands.. Of those who selflessly follow a cause which can be deemed righteous, yet their obsession with it has driven them to perform acts as horrific as of the enemy they fight.

Once they were noble people of Lordaeron, righteous servants of Light. But the tragedy has driven those devoted people into grief and vengeance to all the unliving and living alike.
As they walked the path of destruction of evil, they have become no better then it them selves.

They are an example of when mighty Paladins loose their mind, yet keep following their cause all together.

In battles they follow simple assault tactics - to chase their enemy and fight it directly and only to the death. Their main regulation - leave none alive.
Even facing an overwhelming foe these warriors never waver, turn or retreat. They throw them selves into whirlwind of the fight with almost foolish recklessness, crushing everything standing against them and not caring for their own lives.

However some may be found worthy enough to join. it is rumored - their Organization only allows humans, while other races and especially the Forsaken are looked upon with vigorous hate. To become one of them is to go through unbearable trials of pain and
questioning. Only those who display undoubted zeal and faith can hope to rise in the ranks of this order.

Their struggle is with the death it self. They are the remaining armies of the once holy kingdom of priests - Lordaeron - they are The Scarlet Crusade. Abandoned and betrayed by their old allies, besieged and locked from all sides they continue to fight for their home.

Dispite the defeats which Scarlet Crusade suffered over past it still remains an organization to be feared.

As the undead now wander the blasted plagued wastes which those creatures now call home they have learned to scan the horizon continually for the crimson garb of the Scarlet Crusade.
Scarlet Crusaders come from many specialities — warriors, priests, wizards, scouts — but all have one obsession: the complete and utter destruction of the plagueborn creatures who have conquered and occupied their ancestral homelands.

Whether a red robe, a red tabard or red lacquered armor, a Scarlet Crusader wears the bright color as a brazen declaration that the red blood of the living still flows in their veins and a beacon calling the undead foes to battles. Though often seen traveling in squads, even a lone Crusader will charge into battle with a zealous rage to destroy both the undead and any they fear may be "plagued". The truly unlucky are those captured alive by a Scarlet Crusaders who are taken back to the Crusade's hidden encampments, where the Crusaders eagerly interrogate and torture prisoners for any information that will help the Crusade achieve its goals.

Waging guerrilla warfare in the Plaguelands, a Scarlet Crusaders are masters of subtle art of finding an undead quarry. A Scarlet Crusader gets a great deal of quick experience tracking and killing his chosen enemies, the Undead. A scarlet crusader can focus his senses through the lens of his zealotry and gain the uncanny ability to detect nearby undead. As he hones his abilities, a Scarlet Crusader can soon sense the presence of undead enemies with little work.

Midnight rituals of the Scarlet Crusade imbue its devotees with the ability to "infect" the undead with the spark of life — and in doing so, make them vulnerable as normal mortals. Just as the Scarlet Crusade trains its members to manipulate their life force, it also trains them to protect it. As a Crusader becomes more powerful they can use their life force to incinerate any who stand in their way.

All inductees into the Scarlet Crusade receive a crimson ring that reminds them not only of their devotion to the cause, but also of their ability to create a crimson circle that will prevent undead creatures from crossing its boundaries. Clever members of the Crusade have learned to use this ability to imprison the undead, either for questioning or slaughter. Once a Scarlet Crusader has proven his or her devotion to the Crusade, they are introduced to the dark art of interrogation. A Scarlet Crusader who has mastered the art of interrogation can inflict such pain that a creature cannot help but reveal all the Crusader wishes to know.

Architecture of this Order is much like of the Humans. While serving the Light as they believe they build churches and cathedrals. All of their structures and bases are heavily reinforced with fort-walls and  towers for maximum defense and security. Those fortifications are erected with joint effort and even with help of сommanders who all are willing to spend their rare hours of rest for the success of their great goal.

My virtues are Vengeance, Duty and Sacrifice.
